What is Acupressure?
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique for reaching and releasing blocked or congested energy centers in the body, in order to balance and regulate energy.
Developed in China over 5,000 years ago, Acupressure is a component of the holistic system of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This also includes acupuncture, but the use of acupuncture dates back 2,500 years.
Acupressure has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a science that activates the neurons of the nervous system that stimulates the endocrine glands and activates the defective organs. The pressure technique helps to unblock the obstruction so that the energy can flow regularly so that the organs can function normally again.
